Welcome to Mid-Ohio Pediatrics & Adolescents, Inc.

We appreciate the opportunity to care for your child. As specialists in examining and treating children from birth through young adulthood, our interest lies in both the physical and emotional growth of your child. We are also firm believers in fostering a healthy parent-child relationship with the hope that parenthood is a rewarding and fulfilling experience.  Our goal is to provide the finest quality services to our patients in a comfortable and pleasant setting and to do so more efficiently and economically.

Mid-Ohio Pediatrics and Adolescents, Inc. is among one of the largest pediatric practices in the Central Ohio area.  Since 1986, our office has been located in the community of Westerville, but we also serve the surrounding communities and school districts.  With our longevity,  we now have the privilege to serve a second generation of children.

A unique characteristic about our organization is that we are associates – one of our physicians is always available for office care or telephone consultation. During routine and follow-up appointments, you are able to meet with the physician of your choice. However, because we are a group practice, sick visits and emergency calls could be scheduled with one of the other physicians in order for your child to be seen as quickly as possible.

Flu Clinics

MOP has received our 1st shipment of flu vaccine. We will be holding our first Flu clinics on Wednesday, September 6th; Thursday, September 7th and Saturday, September 9th. A limited number of appointments are available. Please call our office for more information and to schedule a flu shot appointment(s) for your child(ren).

Happy Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day to all our families! Wishing all a safe and fun July 4th! Our office will be open with limited hours Monday, July 3rd and closed on Tuesday, July 4th. We will reopen with regular hours Wednesday, July 5th!

NCH Health Information Exchange (HIE)

We are excited to announce that MOP is participating in Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Health Information Exchange.  This system provides your child’s caregivers with access to the most current and complete healthcare information available regarding your child.  With your authorization, other doctors who may treat your child can access your child’s electronic healthcare records allowing them to make better care decisions.  For more information, please see our Forms page.

Flu shots still available!

The Ohio Department of Health is now reporting that the flu is widespread across the state of Ohio.  It’s not too late if your child still needs their flu shot!  One of our reception staff will be happy to schedule a flu shot at (614) 899-0000.

Holiday Office Hours

Beginning today, Monday, December 19th continuing through Friday, December 30th, our office will be open for limited holiday hours. If your child is ill, please call first thing in the morning beginning at 8:30am to schedule a same day ill appointment. We will not have extended hours during this two week holiday season and apologize for any inconvenience.

eClinicalWorks EHR goes live on Monday, October 3rd

We are very excited to rollout our new EHR (electronic health record) system on Monday.  With this will come many changes, the first is a new process for checking into our office.  Please go to our Forms page and print out the Patient Packet.  The patient packet has two documents to print and complete before arriving for your appointment.  If you do not have access to a printer, we will have patient packet forms available for you to complete upon arrival.  All patients, new and existing, must complete these new forms for our new system.  We have also installed insurance card scanners so please remember to bring all insurance cards for your child/children.  Most importantly, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow for the new check- in process!

Thank you for your patience!

Please bear with us!

In order to provide you with the most efficient visit possible, Mid-Ohio Pediatrics is installing an EMR

(Electronic Medical Records) system.  This technology enables MOP to provide your child even

more convenient care, and ensures that their records will hold more accurate documentation, in a safer and

more concisely stored location.

By initiating electronic health records, we will have the most current technology and keeping with current

health information.  In addition, this promotes “green practices” to lower our paper usage.

Please bear with us, as we are currently in training with this new EMR system and the new system will

debut on Monday, October 3, 2016.

Thank you for your patience as we make this transition!
